# Statista - How do I link my account?

# Overview

To authenticate with Statista, you need:

1. **API Key** - A key that grants Nango permission to interact with Statista's API resources and services.

This guide will walk you through finding your **API Key** within Statista.

### Prerequisites:

* You must have an account with Statista.

### Instructions:

#### Step 1: Generating your API Key

* Statista currently only gives out **API Keys** per request. To get an **API Key**, [fill out this questionnaire](https://forms.office.com/pages/responsepage.aspx?id=OfiFB67f4U-gaID-j8YfKwI-9bbupjFMnubBsPP0QlRUMjZNOFczSjA4NkdFN0U4ODVORU5GTFIxTyQlQCN0PWcu\&route=shorturl) - and the team from Statista will get back to you.

#### Step 2: Enter credentials in the Connect UI

Once you have your **API Key**:

1. Open the form where you need to authenticate with Statista.
2. Enter your **API Key** in its designated field.
3. Submit the form, and you should be successfully authenticated.
