# Instantly - How do I link my account?

# Overview

To authenticate with Instantly, you need:

1. **API Key** - A key that grants Nango permission to interact with Instantly's API resources and services.

This guide will walk you through generating your **API Key** within Instantly.

### Prerequisites:

* You must have an Instantly account.

### Step 1: Generate an API Key

1. Log into your Instantly account and navigate to the [Integrations](https://app.instantly.ai/app/settings/integrations) page.
2. Click on **API Keys** in the left sidebar.
3. Click the **Create API Key** button.
4. Enter a **Name** and select **Scopes** you want this **API Key** to have access to.
5. Click **Create**.

7. Copy your **API Key** and store it securely, as it will only be shown once and cannot be recovered.

#### Step 2: Enter credentials in the Connect UI

Once you have your **API Key**:

1. Open the form where you need to authenticate with Instantly.
2. Enter your **API Key** in its respective field.
3. Submit the form, and you should be successfully authenticated.
